1 cup Water
1 bunch asparagus
1 tsp sea salt divided
1 lb. Shrimp peeled and deveined
1/2 lemon
2 tbsp butter cut into 2 parts


1. Complete the Instant Pot® with water. Set up the trivet. Set the trivet down and set the steamer basket on top.
2. Asparagus should be prepared by snapping the stalks at their natural breaking point and then removing the woody ends.
3. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the base of the steamer basket. Add half a teaspoon of salt. The shrimp should be added. Lemon juice and the remaining 1/2 tsp of salt should be added to the Instant Pot® before the shrimp are added. Butter shrimp and serve. Put the cover on tight.
4. To set the timer to 1 minute, choose Manual and then the appropriate time setting.
5. Quickly release the pressure until the float valve lowers, and then unlock the lid when the timer chimes.
6. Put the shrimp and asparagus on a serving plate.
