Total Time: 1 Hour 10 Minutes Prep Time: 25 Minutes Cook Time: 45 Minutes Yield: 2 Servings

Ingredients : 

4tbsp of Almond oil

2 chopped onions

1 tbsp. of chili powder

1 ½ teaspoons of black pepper

2 tbsp. of cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

2 teaspoons turmeric

1 cup red lentil Juice of a lemon

3 cups homemade broth

2 finely chopped medium broccoli

½ cup dried coconut

1 tbsp. of flour

1 teaspoon of salt

1 cup of coarsely chopped cashews

Instructions : 

In a saucepan, put the oil and brown the onions.

Add the pepper, chili powder, cumin, coriander, and turmeric. And stir and cook for a minute.

Add the lemon juice, lentils, broth, and coconut.

Bring to a boil, reduce to low heat, and cook for 45-55 Minutes (if the mixture becomes thick, you must add a little hot water). Now steam the broccoli for approximately 7min.

Set aside broccoli after submerging it in cool water.

Remove 1/3 cup of the liquid from the lentil mixture. To make a smooth paste, add the flour.

Please return it to the pan and mix in the salt, broccoli, and nuts. Cook for 5 Minutes on low heat.
